The designed concrete gravity dam "Foča" has been tested on a hydraulic physical model in order to justify the proposed technical solution.

In June 2010 the Department of Hydraulics at Institute for Water Resources "Jaroslav Černi" conducted a major campaign for measurement as part of the Project for modernization and rehabilitation of hydropower plant "Perućica".

HPP "Perućica" is the oldest large hydropower plant in Montenegro, which started operating in 1960, with an installed capacity of 307 MW. Since the start of operation until now, hydropower has never worked with full installed capacity. Average annual production of electricity in the period 1960-1999 was 823 GWh, which represents 63% of the total production.

In order to examine the efficiency levels of the turbines, the following tests have been carried out on both the big and the small turbines of the mini-HPP. Operation tests on the big and small aggregates have been performed with the loads of 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 %.

In the relevant period, the Department of Hydraulics has continued with designing, construction and reconstruction activities of a number of fountains and drinking fountains.

In 2011, the main design for the rehabilitation of the fountain in front of the ''25. maj'' Museum. The fountain is located inside the Museum of Yugoslav History complex. The museum complex is located in Dedinje, the Urban Municipality of Savski Venac, Belgrade. It consists of ''25. maj'' Museum, the ''House of Flowers'', the Old Museum and the adjoining park. The fountain occupies the central part of the ''25. maj'' Museum front. The museum building dates from 1962, whereas the current appearance of its front is a result of the reconstruction which took place between 1978 and 1980, when the fountain was built according to the design of architects Branislav and Marija Jovin.
