2.III43007: Study of Climate Change and Environmental Impact: Monitoring, Adaptation and Mitigation, Sub-project 8: Water Resources under Climate Change Conditions
Professor Dr. Stevan Prohaska, who manages these two projects, presented the scope, expected outcomes and tasks.

The meeting was also attended by two distinguished professors from abroad. Professor Dr. Slobodan Simonovic from Canada made two presentations: Assessment of Climate Change Impact on Water Resources on Basin-Wide Scale, and Assessment of Climate Change Impact on the Thames River (Southwest Ontario, Canada): Case Study.
Professor Dr. Ognjen Bonacci from Croatia spoke about the consequences of global warming and gave a presentation entitled: Sudden Increase in Air Temperature in the Former Yugoslavia during the Past 30 Years.
Dejan Dimkić from the Jaroslav Černi Institute spoke about Registered Long-Term Temperature, Precipitation and Streamflow Trends in Serbia: Annual and Monthly Streamflow Trend Components, and discussed the outcomes of his research of the correlation between temperatures and streamflows.
A brief presentation was made about the Climate Change and Impacts on Water Supply (CC-WaterS) Project, and a project summary was distributed to all who attended the meeting. Nine European countries have partnered to implement this project financed by the European Union and the IPA Fund. Serbia is represented by the Jaroslav Černi Institute and the University of Belgrade Faculty of Mining and Geology.
